Where do you start?
The outdoor area is more important to a home than most people realise. To take full advantage of the space, it needs to be inviting, comfortable and above all functional. Think about what it is you want from your garden in Killara, how you want to feel when you’re spending time in it and how you want to interact with it.
From there, collate a visual wishlist of outdoor design ideas on Pinterest, Instagram or a similar platform (doesn’t really matter, as long as you can share the wishlist with us). It can also help to begin thinking about practical factors such as the size of the space, the amount of sun and shade, the type of soil, etc.
The next step is what we call a “Discovery Meeting,” where we get together at your property in Killara and go through your wishlist and any basic design ideas or briefs you may have in extensive detail. We will pass design ideas back and forth, identify and discuss any challenges you may have with your site, discuss maintenance requirements, your budget, etc. More details about this process are available on the Design Services Page.
