We’ll start with a free 15-minute call to talk through your project, where you’re up to and whether GROUNDWORK is the right fit.
If it looks like a good fit, the next step is a $250 on-site design consultation. We’ll walk through your property, plans, priorities and budget and work through the key ideas and decisions together.
This is a working consultation, so you’ll leave with ideas and direction you can use. No plans or drawings are provided as part of the consultation, but you’re welcome to take notes as we go.
If GROUNDWORK is the right next step, you’ll be invited to choose an available design window. Book within 7 days and your $250 consultation fee will be credited towards GROUNDWORK.
When your design period begins, your project becomes my sole focus. I’ll develop your complete landscape design concept, bringing the house, garden and all those outdoor decisions together.
Within the week, you’ll receive your landscape design concept, including the plans, 3D visuals and design direction you need to understand what you’re creating and start getting it priced.
You’ll have one week to review your design and submit your consolidated feedback before I complete the final refinements.

Every project is different, and not every landscape needs the same level of documentation to move into construction. GROUNDWORK gives you a complete landscape design concept you can take to your landscaper or builder for pricing.
For many projects, this may be all the design documentation your contractor needs to move forward. If your contractor, approval pathway or project requires more detail, we can add exactly what’s needed once you know you actually need it. This might include planting plans, lighting plans, materials schedules, construction details, additional dimensions or council approval documentation.
No paying upfront for a stack of drawings you may never use.
